Fairway News Ltd is committed to factual accuracy and transparency. When an error is discovered in a published article, we pursue a formal correction path to maintain the integrity of our reporting.

Formal Correction Process

If a factual error is confirmed, we will issue a Correction note at the bottom of the affected article. This note will:

  • Identify the error: Specify exactly what was incorrect.
  • Provide the correction: State the verified factual truth.
  • Indicate timing: Record the precise moment the correction was applied.

Clarifications & Updates

Updates may be issued when additional context becomes available that significantly alters the narrative's implications. Clarifications are used to resolve ambiguities that could lead to misinterpretation, even if the original facts were technically accurate.

Retractions

In rare cases where an article's core premise is found to be fundamentally flawed or its sources unreliable, Fairway News Ltd will issue a formal Retraction. The original content will be removed and replaced with a Retraction notice.
